Michael Lawrence
Founding Partner and General Counsel
Prior to joining Community Fund, Michael was a securities and banking litigator at top national law firms Skadden Arps and Greenberg Traurig where he represented Morgan Stanley, Citibank, and several private equity, hedge, and high frequency trading funds. Previously, Mr. Lawrence served as General Counsel for a number of companies where he oversaw, among other things, legal compliance, securities issuances, corporate governance and investor relations. Mr. Lawrence holds a BA from Boston University and a JD from Rutgers School of Law, where he graduated with honors.
